1 - Mexico - Taxi strike in Mexico City
Mexico City finds itself in the middle of a taxi strike, as drivers have parked their vehicles in protest over the unregulated infusion of ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft. According to Mexican media outlets, the Zocalo and Paseo de la Reforma areas of the city are primarily affected. Those needing to access citizen services at the U.S. Embassy (located on Paseo de la Reforma) may wish to call ahead to make sure access to the embassy is possible.

Extinction Rebellion protesters have been reported throughout Europe with approximately 30,000 expected in London. Protests are also being reported in Berlin and Stockholm. Travel through affected cities can be expected.
3 - Hong Kong - Travel Advisories

Multiple governments are advising their citizens to avoid all but essential travel to Hong Kong given the frequency and tenor of the protests which are now occurring in Hong Kong. We have and will continue to include Hong Kong in our alerts as warranted.
The Government of Singapore is the latest, with this admonishment: Singaporeans are advised to defer non-essential travel to Hong Kong, given current developments. If you are already in Hong Kong, you should take all necessary precautions to ensure your personal safety. You are advised to stay vigilant, monitor developments through the local news, and heed the instructions of the local authorities. You should avoid protests and large public gatherings, and stay in touch with your family and friends so that they know you are safe.
