France - The nationwide strike which began today, 05 December continues. A 500 km traffic jam of trucks was reported by Agence France-Presse.

Travelers should pay close attention to what is happening in their locale, as well as, at their destination as they travel within or two France to maintain personal safety.

Hong Kong - Organized protests took place on Sunday, 08 December 2019 with over 800,000 participating. All reports indicate that the protest was largely peaceful, though Hong Kong police did announce arrests (prior to the march) of individuals with firearms.
