SUMMARY: Central Eurasia countries are not getting along, now Kyrgyzstan/Tajikistan are engaged in a border squabble with live rounds being exchanged between the two countries. While the United Kingdom continues its period of mourning the death of the Queen, with the funeral scheduled for 19 September. In Liberia, Belgium air has stopped flying into Monrovia’s main airport due to safety concerns, while in France an air traffic controller strike has the government asking airlines to cancel 50% of their flights into France. The unrest in Haiti has now spread nationwide. All this amidst the arrival of Tropical Storm #FIONA which should hit the Leeward Islands the evening of 16 September and is expected to then continue out to the north Atlantic.

Kyrgyzstan/Tajikistan - Kyrgzstan’s border guard service claims Tajik forces opened fire on several of its outposts. This comes on the heels of the ceasefire between Armenia/Azerbaijan after a similar border clash.
United Kingdom - Public mourning is disrupting transportation in London and beyond as the nation mourns the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth. Funeral is scheduled for 19 September.
Liberia - Crisis 24 reports that Brussels Airlines has suspended service into Monrovia’s Roberts International Airport citing safety concerns.
Haiti - Protests have spread beyond Port au Prince and are now nationwide.
France - Air traffic controllers in France went out on strike causing disruptions. Ryan Air has canceled hundreds of flights. The French civil aviation directorate has requested airlines cancel 50% of their flights into France.
