Hong Kong - The weekend demonstrations and occupation of the Polytechnic University have largely subsided (see our advisory to defer travel to Hong Kong). That said, daily demonstrations continue. These demonstrations are largely occurring in business and commercial areas as well as the metro (MTR) stations during the lunch-hour. While largely peaceful in nature, they have occasionally erupted into violence.

Bolivia - Supporters of former President Evo Morales continue to protest the resignation of Morales. Multiple deaths have occurred. We continue to urge no travel at this time. Read our updated our Country Brief for Bolivia prior to travel.
Iran - Widespread and violent demonstrations are occurring in major Iranian cities. The government has pulled the plug on the internet in order to prevent images and narratives on what is occurring within Iran from getting out. The more technologically savvy in Iran have found work-around, as evidence by the images which have made there way out.
Central African Republic - Carnage continues as Christians are singled out and slaughtered by Islamic Extremists. Travelers should ensure they have their personal emergency evacuation plan in place when traveling to the areas of refugee camps.
Lebanon - Nationwide protests continue. Travel in Lebanon, most especially Beirut may be affected by roadblocks and protest rallies. Travel within Lebanon should be well planned, with particular attention paid to the locations of the protests.

Nothing significant to report
