COVID: Travelers from China face global entry restrictions

Spread the knowledge with a share:

The COVID pandemic continues to take lives as the COVID virus mutates. China’s level of infection has caused nations around the world to restrict entry or require pre-boarding testing prior to being allowed to enter many countries, including the United States. Some nations have returned to the 2020 rhetoric of labeling China as once again the epicenter of the COVID pandemic.

China’s foreign ministry of course says that these steps are overblown and not based on any scientific logic.

Bottom line - if you are traveling to or from China you need to keep yourself abreast of the entry requirements for both China and any other country on your itinerary, including the country from which your trip originated. The lack of a universal protocol requires personal attention to the dynamic situation.
