In what can only be called a decision wrapped in prudence, Royal Caribbean banned a passenger on the Allure of the Seas ship for life following her dangerous conduct.

Seems a passenger, in search of the ultimate selfie climbed over the railing of her cabin’s balcony and posed for a photo. Fellow passenger Peter Blosic, witnessed the event and photographed the passenger. Some may characterize his action as meddling, the vast majority characterize his actions as probably saving a life, even if the woman was challenging the rules of Darwin.

Sitting, standing, laying or climbing on, over or across any exterior or interior railings or other protective barriers, or tampering with ship’s equipment, facilities or systems designed for guest safety is not permitted.”

Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines

The current cruise, a round-trip from Fort Lauderdale with stops in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica and Mexico. The wayward passenger was put off the ship in Jamaica to find her own way back to Fort Lauderdale.

Thus with this incident we have yet another way for you to be banned from cruising, by engaging in dangerous and idiotic behavior which may place your life or those off another at risk.
