Ryan Air passenger tries to open plane door on Sevilla-Budapest flight

Passengers acting aggressively isn’t unique to U.S. flights. On 11 November on RyanAir flight FR5353 between Seville and Budapest a passenger began acting out. He kicked seats, threatened people with a pen and abuse the women in seats around him.

As the situation escalated the attempted to open the main door of the plane. That was when he encountered a security guard on the flight came to the flight attendant’s assistance, just as the flight attendant was asking passengers to help subdue the passenger. Which they did in short order, throwing him to the aisle and immobilizing him.

The flights Captain directed the passenger be tied to his seat. Upon arrival at Budapest-Ferenc Liszt airport, police came aboard and removed the passenger.

The security guard who jumped into the fray, Antonio Quintero, laughed that this was his first time on an airplane. No doubt RyanAir and the passengers or of FR5353 were pleased he chose that flight for his first flight.
