Today, 25 November 2021, is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. Each year, since President Lincoln created the national holiday, the people of the United States reflect upon their family, friends, and colleagues and collectively give thanks.
Securely Travel gives thanks this Thanksgiving.
We are 44 months old this Thanksgiving. We are thankful for your readership, comments and support.
We are finally out of our toddler phase, as we moved through a most-difficult third years - the year of the pandemic. For those of you who were with us at the birth of Securely Travel you know we have morphed, pivoted and had to maneuver through a few changes in direction. We are surviving the pandemic, travel is once again an option and we’re thankful we are here to help you navigate through it securely.
Who are you, our readers?
Readers come from 183 different countries. With more than 67 percent from the United States, 15 percent from Canada, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom. We are thankful that our content is resonating with such a diverse audience.
While we don’t know if we can expand our global reach beyond the 183 countries, we know we can and are expanding our readership as more than 65 percent of you come to us via a search for a specific piece of information.
And, what has us smiling, is we have had over 200 different entities refer readers to us directly, for this we are thankful this Thanksgiving Day.
Resources for you

Securely Travel is a proud member of the U.S. Department of State Overseas Advisory Council (OSAC) and also as a Weather Ready Ambassador (National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration). Each morning we receive the Federal Emergency Management Agency brief.

We have plugged into the official travel advisory feeds of the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. When these countries update a travel advisory, it shows up on our advisory pages. Finally, at the outset of the pandemic in early-2020, we created a micro-mirror site to the Center for Disease Control which is accessible from the top of every page of every post.
When our Securely Travel Alerts are created, the information within is taken from the above sources, as well as, our numerous topical persistent searches which feed our information stream for analysis automatically.

Happy Thanksgiving 2021
Thank you
Christopher Burgess
