The United States opened air-travel to the U.S. to the world for those non-US citizens who are fully vaccinated. Reminder, Sputnik Vaccine is not recognized as being sufficiently effective against COVID and is not on the approved list of vaccines as recognized by the CDC. The following list of acceptable vaccines is culled from the CDC site on 08 November 2021:
The Sputnik vaccine is not alone, the China-produced CanSino vaccine is also unapproved by the CDC or WHO. Though those with an eagle-eye will note that two Chinese vaccines are approved by the WHO - Sinovac and BIBP/Sinopharm.
