Delta earns a gold star! When you travel with your best friend, and then you unexpectedly get separated, life can go south pretty fast. This 8-year old boy, Austin, was recently on a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta and his best friend, Teddy, got left behind.

But not for long, another passenger noticed Teddy was all by himself (having fallen out of a backpack) and picked up the Teddy and delivered him to flight attendant, Kerry Brown. Brown, a mom herself, noticed Teddy, knew what needed to be done.

After ensuring Teddy got the VIP treatment, including photo ops with her colleagues, and a bit of flying.

Teddy earned his wings!.

Teddy was shipped back to the young-man and the best friends were once again together.

Good Morning America got wind of this act of kindness and put a little something together to give the boy an opportunity to say thank you directly.

Watch to the end, as Teddy now has a Big Brother no doubt going to be named Gentle Teddy and the flight attendant is thanked in person by a very happy and grateful young man.
