Thanksgiving has come and gone and sadly, the millions who traveled over the past 7 to 10 days have created what may turn out to be the largest COVID super-spreader event when they ignored CDC warnings to avoid travel and gatherings as the number of COVID cases spiked in the United States and abroad.
On Sunday, Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House’s coronavirus task force coordinator advised “If your family traveled, you have to assume you were exposed and you became infected, and you really need to get tested in the next week, and you need to avoid anyone in your family with comorbidities or are over 65,” she told CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday.
As of this morning the United States has seen more than 264,522 dead because of COVID.

Turn on any news program and you will learn that the nation’s healthcare systems are being overwhelmed with COVID cases. Dr. Anthony Fauci, arguably the nation’s premier infectious disease expert notes that this holiday season of mid-November through early-January will see COVID surge upon a surge.
His recommendation, “quarantine when you get home.”
Please stay safe.
