A quick look at the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) stats on travel for the first week of November 2021 shows a low of 1.48 million passengers and a high of 2.15 million passengers for an average of 1.81 million travelers. This is a significant uptick, 233 percent, from 2020, when the same day average was 783,000 travelers. That said, travel has not yet approached 2019 level, and averaging about 80 percent of 2019 numbers when the average number of travelers for the time period was 2.26 million travelers.

We expect travel to continue to rise as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches.

TSA asks for your patience, and cooperation. They also recommend arriving at least two hours prior to your scheduled flight.

Travelers will be asked to scan their own boarding passes at the podium and to lower their mask for an ID verification (TSA officer will be behind glass).
